Gore-Tex Membrane
An internal Gore-Tex membrane is built into the boot or shoe to create a waterproof and breathable barrier. The Gore-Tex membrane helps keep feet dry and protected, while allowing moisture vapor from sweat to pass through.

ReBOTL™ Material
The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® apparel contains at least 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the stuff plastic bottles are made of). The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® footwear and accessories contains at least 50% recycled PET. (Excepting trace materials)

Greenstride™ Comfort Soles
This high-rebound EVA foam is made with at least 65% renewable materials: Sugar cane and responsibly sourced natural rubber from trees. GreenStride™ is USDA Certified Biobased.

Regenerative Agriculture
Sourced from farms that use regenerative agricultural practices. This technique gives land a rest so it can absorb carbon, retain water and restore biodiversity to the pastures where the cattle graze

Waterproof Footwear
Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments and processes. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed as part of the tanning process; we then either seam-seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof breathable membrane to help feet stay dry. Tongues and zippers treated with durable water resistant coatings utilize integrated gussets, to further deter water entry.
